Disney’s Tron is one of my top 10 movies of all time. Now, you might say “What the hell, it’s not that good” and you would be right. But that movie sparked my interest in computers and that led me into my IT career. And for that I will always be grateful. The antagonist in Tron is the evil Master Control Program (MCP) and he (it) attempts to control the activities of all programs in the system....

Distressed t-shirts are very popular just now. I personally prefer the all natural distressed look, i.e. keep wearing the t-shirt until it starts to wear out! But I realise some folk don’t like that. Next up in The Doggie Collection is Finn. Finn is black curly coat setter mix that belongs to my sister-in-law’s family. He’s is a lovable being eejit, always looking to get his bum scratched or wanting to play with toys or other dogs. I have created some designs celebrating some of the wonderful dogs I have known. First up is Kessie, a black labrador. Kessie was a rescue, she came to use overweight and timid. I will never forget the look on her face when we took her to the park for the first and let her off to run around. She was so, so, so happy. Kessie was an absolutely adorable dog. She hardly gave us any trouble....

Barmp! Barmp! is how Newfoundlanders refer to the beeping or honking of cars. I often hear the wife say ‘Did they barmp me?’ or ‘Should I barmp them?’ and according to her it’s a Newfoundland thing. I’ve been watching lots of the UEFA Nations League games recently. Where I am, in Canada, they are being show on the DAZN network. Every. Single. Game. For a football fan like myself, that is just fantastic. It’s like wall-to-wall football. Stripes have been a focus of mine recently, what with the Dumbarton FC stripes collection and the 70s retro stripes so I thought I’d do some stripes designs inspired by the various countries in the UEFA Nations League games that I’ve watched....

This design is inspired by the famous 1970s Dumbarton FC black-and-gold stripes but vertical rather than horizontal. It’s a design that I have always loved, much better than the mainly yellow/gold strips that were used w hen I was a lad. You can get this design on several products over at my Redbubble storefront.
